The Cleveland State University Student Center (CSU) provides for the principal activities of the student's life. It is a new facility that rises on the site of the previous administration and student center and enhance the campus image creating an open connection to the city and offering its spaces for a wide range of services such asbookstore, dining, lounge, computer access, offices for student activities and conferences. This Center has three floors where the spaces are built around a central atrium, this building counts with an open space with soaring windows that provide panoramic views of the campus and city.

the prevailing circulation on this building is vertical circulation, this consists in progress from one level to another and the hability to create a strong sense of communication and condition in each of them, the student center has three levels and the elements that represent the circulation are elevators, stairs and ramps. The elevators are for those who cannot use stairways, the ramps are reffered to the outside and inside of the student center and gives, for his design to be taken slowly, the view from the main entrance and the outside plaza, and finally the stairs that evoke visual experience and mostly make clear and important the approach to the next levels.

Its horizontal circulation consists in, basically, the atrium as the core that spreads through all the structure, it has an aproximation through the Euclid Avenue and provides a walkway system that begins and ends with him. Also this walkway system comes represented by bridges and ramps that connects to other buildings and gives exterior relations, and especially corridors that are feed by natural ligh and makes the travel more pleasant to the atrium.

In my opinion this is a very well designed building, the architect is thought about all the details, all the kind of person who could enter the building and would need so that it can be run in its entirety.
